Hello from what is hopefully the last chilly day here at Walt Disney World for a little while. The morning started out very cold by Florida standards, but it warmed up to the high sixties by midday. We started out at the Magic Kingdom to check on what new things we could find there. Let’s get started!
We found the Liberty Bell had returned to the Rivers of America ahead of her reopening tomorrow, although she was not there later in the day when we walked by. Both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island are due to reopen tomorrow, February 5th.
Also ahead of the reopening scheduled for tomorrow, we saw the construction walls had been removed here. They were blocking the stairs leading to the dock for the rafts to Tom Sawyer Island, and the mark on the boardwalk from their stay is still visible.
The Hall of Presidents is still closed while preparing the show for the addition of the new President. No reopening date is known at this time.
Work on Bonjour! Village Gifts continues, with this side wall having been painted a lighter shade of green than the rest of the building, perhaps in an attempt to save the artwork already present.
We found more promotional filming today, this time behind Cinderella Castle.
Pirates of the Caribbean was up and running today, after being down for technical difficulties all day yesterday.
We found some new merchandise in the park today, starting with this lovely picture frame, which is a new addition to the wedding line we found recently. We found this piece at The Emporium for $29.99.
Next, we found a whole slew of kitchenware items, including tumblers, a tea strainer, and this ceramic dish of Cinderella Castle. For more pictures and information on the full collection, check out our article here.
We found a new Hidden Mickey mystery pin pouch at The Emporium today. Each pouch contains 2 randomly selected pins, and retails for $12.99.
We were excited to find the latest Starbucks tumbler featuring a silver and blue Cinderella Castle on a pearlescent white background at The Emporium today. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found a whole batch of new shirts in the MaDe kiosk in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. First up was this Fantasia design, which reminds us of art from a coloring book.
We found several new designs for Valentine’s Day, including these three featuring Mickey and Minnie.
The other Valentine’s Day designs were these two, one featuring Star Wars icons and the other featuring Marvel characters.
We also found three designs featuring characters from “The Mandalorian”. All shirts are customizable and start at $29.99.
We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom today, but we wanted to check out Disney Springs before we called it a day.
We found lots of new merchandise while we were there, starting with two new pairs of leggings. Both pairs are available at World of Disney for $39.99.
We found a collection of new mugs featuring princess-themed icons and sayings. Our favorite was this poison apple mug based on “Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs”. To see the full collection, check out our article here.
Our most exciting find at World of Disney was this ceramic Cinderella Castle cookie jar. We were blown away by this impressive piece! For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We spotted a new seasonal sausage at B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. for the spring. We think we’ll have to come back here for lunch sometime soon!
We stopped by Disney Style and found a few more pieces of merchandise to show you, starting with this fun Grape Soda tank inspired by “Up”, which retails for $34.99.
Next, we found a new addition to the Valentine’s Day newsprint line. This long sleeve shirt features “Walt Disney World” down the left sleeve, and retails for $42.99.
Lastly, we found two new black and white plaid tops. The first was this long sleeve shirt featuring Mickey Mouse for $44.99.
The second was this button down shirt with red accents and a hood for $64.99.
We found a new photo opportunity outside of Days of Christmas featuring “Secrets of Sulphur Springs” from the Disney Channel. Can you spot the ghost?
We had a great time at Walt Disney World today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
