The new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel is scheduled to open later this year (last Disney told us at least) adjacent to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The hotel will be a continuation of the story in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and will have themed, experiential transport shuttles to take guests directly to and from the hotel and Batuu.

Thanks to bioreconstruct on Twitter, we have a look at how construction of the hotel is coming along and even a look at the shuttle stops.

Guests will board shuttles in this area to the side of the hotel building. The jetway, as well as the building, will be completely enclosed for an immersive experience.

Bioreconstruct included arrows of where the shuttles might enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios property (on the right) and eventually stop at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (on the left).

Right now, the possible drop-off location is being used for the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run queue.

The intergalactic transports for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are actually heavily modified buses.

The shuttles will be special buses with a few extra bells and whistles to make it look more like a spaceship.

Concept art gives us a look at how guests will enter the bus from the jetway and remain immersed.

This is what the shuttle will look like in story. Video screens in the bus will make guests feel like they are traveling through space.
