It has been nearly six months since the installation of the canopy framework on TRON Lightcycle / Run started. With even more canopy work completed in January, we can report today that the temporary supports for this framework are now being dismantled.
The temporary supports help to maintain the integrity of the canopy during its construction. You can see they’re no longer touching the canopy in the photos below.
As the construction progresses, the supports hold up the structure since the real supports aren’t all there yet.
Orange tarps are visible throughout the attraction as well, as they protect the coaster’s tracks.
In the photo above, you can see the temporary supports were abundant throughout the coaster construction.
Some supports remain in place where canopy work is still ongoing.
Extra canopy framework continues to be staged at the construction site.
These dismantled support structures are being stored at the construction site as well.
Though the opening date for this attraction has been delayed, you can watch our ride-through of TRON Lightcycle / Run’s sister coaster, TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland in the meantime:
Thanks for the Information about the Tron: Lightcycle Run and I can’t wait for Tron: Lightcycle for next year!
Nice – really going to change the park profile from the monorail resorts
Such a beautiful sight too see in the making of this wicked awesome coaster 🎢
