The Disney Parks Twitter has announced that there will be a glimpse at the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World on Good Morning America tomorrow morning.

Included in the Tweet is a video showcasing Walt Disney World guests and cast members stating what they expect from a Disney celebration . In the video are some sneak peeks at some 50th Anniversary offerings, including some not even announced before.

Cinderella Castle looks to have special décor for the anniversary, with blue turrets with gold detailing. The current construction in front of the castle and the damming of the moat are likely related to these changes for the 50th.

Mickey and friends will be wearing blue, gold, and other fanciful colors for the celebration. The preview gives us even more detail on these new costumes than what was revealed in November in a special pin collection.

  1. That would of been nice to know we’re leaving tomorrow. Miss out on Everything , we were trying to stay . Not much help , didn’t know about anything

      • Ok, being a student of history, I see your point. So they should have made two promos, the one with the masks and one with vintage videos from ’71 to March 2020. However, using their own library of videos would have saved them money instead of shooting a new video, hiring guests wearing masks. I just hate having to see them on a Disney World promo for their 50th. When I think of going to Disney World, going into a vacation there, I don’t want to think of the outside world for a few days. Sure, I know fully well I would have to wear a mask if I went there in the next month or so.

  2. How about hiring back some of the hundreds of entertainers who REALLY make the parks and resorts magical? Cannot fathom how WDW continues to charge sky high prices while offering an inferior product. Busch, Sea World, and Universal manage to have LIVE shows in the parks with LIVE performers but Disney can’t? Really?

  3. New Parade Friendships in the Imagnation

    Opening float
The Steadfast Tin Soldiers from Fantasia 2000 float
    Alice in Wonderland float
    Pinocchio float
Bumble Boogie from Melody Time float

  4. It’s great that they have big plans from Oct on. Wish they could bring back some of the normal sooner. Starting to think I should reschedule my May trip again.
