Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- There are many new sugary offerings available at the Disney Parks to celebrate the day of love and with even more sweet specials arriving at the parks leading up to Valentine’s Day, we headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to try the newest Valentine-themed desserts
- Further into the park, we also found a Valentine’s Day ice cream is available at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck
- New trash cans bring guests the option to compost and recycle while visiting Dino-Bite Snacks and Restaurantosaurus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as Disney tests out new compostable cups, cutlery and more
Other Walt Disney World News
- To prepare for the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom, workers are painting the Osceola Parkway entrance archway and making fast work of it, as Minnie’s sign on the right is complete and work has moved to Mickey on the other side
Disneyland Resort

- California state assembly members have proposed a new bill that would speed up the reopening of Disneyland Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood theme parks
- A few days ago we gave you a closer look at MARVEL Avengers Campus, which has yet to have its grand opening while Disney California Adventure remains closed and just recently we got to see the new land lit up at night
- Even more “sci-fi” themed elements have been added to the Rainforest Café building in Downtown Disney District, including loose wires and an outdoor set piece, as it becomes the Star Wars Trading Post
- Award Wieners reopened tonight at Disney California Adventure, as did most of Grizzly Peak
New Merchandise
- A new Star Wars Porg plush is now available at Walt Disney World as part of the big feet collection
- Beginning February 8, a new Dooney & Bourke Dalmatians handbag collection will be available at Walt Disney World Resort
- A new Starbucks tumbler featuring Cinderella Castle is now available at Walt Disney World, an East Coast mate to the much sought-after Disneyland edition of a similar cup

- While visiting EPCOT today, we saw filming happening at The Citrus Blossom food studio of Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and one actor was wearing a new Orange Bird Spirit Jersey and carrying a new version of the Orange Bird sipper
- A new graduation ear headband and ear hat have arrived at Disneyland Resort for the class of 2021
- You can live your Little Mermaid dreams with the new Ariel-inspired dress found in the Disney Dress Shop at the Downtown Disney District
- Little Golden Book will be releasing a new book this summer inspired by one of the most iconic and beloved Disney attractions — “The Haunted Mansion” — to arrive at major retailers in July
- Disney’s newest Loungefly Mini-Backpack is inspired by Disney Pixar’s Coco so be sure to Seize Your Moment and grab this new addition at Walt Disney World before it sells out
- New children’s apparel has come to the Disneyland Resort — three new long sleeve t-shirts are available featuring Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and even some Royal Princesses
- As part of this month’s Disney Treasures From The Vault collection, Disney will be releasing Limited-Edition Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Plushes which will be available on Amazon starting tomorrow

- Ever since last year’s Spaceship Earth cookie jar was released, we’ve been anxiously awaiting the next one, and now we finally get to go to a land of fantasy (and cookies) with this Cinderella Castle jar

Disney+
- “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, February 12, just in time for Valentine’s Day

- Disney has filed a patent for “smart fixtures supporting visual merchandise designers with remote monitoring, control, and reprogramming”
