Tickets went on sale Thursday, but due to overwhelming demand, there were many technical difficulties. Disney released two more weeks of tickets, which sold out within a few hours.

Guests attempting to buy tickets for the event are now met with a message that the queue has closed. However, further dates, ticket availability, and prices for the “A Touch of Disney” experience will be released on a rolling basis until the limited-time experience ends.

The original event was scheduled to run from March 18th until April 5th, 2021. The event will now run through April 19th, 2021 thanks to the addition of two weeks from the high demand for the experience.

  1. The day of the ticket sale I wanted 5 1/2 hrs so when it said 12 min seconds after it said queue has closed. WTF 😒 I was extremely upset I waited so long for nothing disappointing.

  2. With the possibility that Disneyland can reopen in April I’m surprised they would sell tickets for as late as mid-April. I would not expect to see tickets for later in April released until they know they can’t reopen in April, and that would depend on case rates based on the new guidelines. As a comparison, San Diego is expected to move into Red Tier in April, allowing theme parks here to open at reduced capacity. So Orange County is likely to be only a few weeks behind that

  3. We got our tickets after waiting for six hours but we had our phone app open and our laptop open and we were able to get tickets. You have to keep refreshing your laptop to get updates but you won’t lose your space in line. You also have 10 min to purchase tickets right when they let you in. If you don’t checkout within the 10 mins you will get locked out and will have to get in line again.
They are featuring menu items from the park but only a few items and I believe there will be several food stands but all with the same food items so there’s spaced out lines. They are featuring some fun food items that you can see on the Disney app.

  4. Yes! I got tickets after waiting in the queue from about 10ish to 4pm. Well worth the wait 👍🏻
