Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- An osprey has famously nested on the tracks of Universal Orlando Resort’s upcoming Velocicoaster, and now a fellow osprey is trying to do the same on the canopy framework of TRON Lightcycle / Run at the Magic Kingdom
- We are keeping a close eye on the progress of the TRON Lightcycle / Run construction at the Magic Kingdom and while this attraction will not open for the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary as originally planned, we are still glad to see that progress is moving forward on the canopy framework
- We headed out to the Magic Kingdom on a rainy, humid day which looked like thunderstorms were imminent, but the small crowds made up for it and we wound up having a great time finding all that’s new and good to bring you in this most recent photo report
- Peter Pan’s Flight is undergoing an exterior refresh just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary this fall and today we were pleased to see the addition of more themed scrims, to make the refurbishment less of a drag on guests
EPCOT
- Imagineer Zach Riddley just gave an inside look into the creation of the new main entrance music loop that debuted at EPCOT this week via Instagram
- Hello from a beautiful day here at EPCOT where we were thankful to have a perfect park day weather-wise and took advantage of it to find all the latest news for you and bring you this most recent photo report
- We reported back in August that Eats at the EPCOT Experience had returned with a limited menu after being closed for several months but it has now closed once again, and will not be hosting any special eats for the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival this year
- The struggles of Restaurant Marrakesh and the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT have been ongoing for several months and while the pavilion changed hands to Disney ownership, the restaurant remained closed and now, in what could be either a good or bad sign, the menus have been removed from the front of the table-service restaurant
Disney Springs
- This month’s Limited Edition cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs is a fan-favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl cookie — and now they’ve upgraded it for this weekend only to be not just a cookie, but a chocolate-covered, peanut butter buttercream frosted cookie cake
- The trendy new Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is home to an array of unique donut and coffee creations and today we tried their newest addition to the menu: a cinnamon roll that is nearly 5″ wide and covered in cinnamon toast icing
Other Walt Disney World News
- Work has been moving steadily to reimagine the entrances of Walt Disney World ahead of its 50th anniversary, with the focus now on the World Drive entrance and the mouse that started it all
Disneyland Resort
- March 18th kicks off the first “A Touch of Disney” event at Disney California Adventure park and with just under two weeks to go before the event’s debut, we were excited to spot the first food booth appear outside of Wine Country Trattoria
Tokyo Disney Resort
- In tandem with the Japanese government’s extension on the State of Emergency through March 21st, the Oriental Land Company announced today that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will continue to operate at a capacity of 5000 Guests from 10am to 7pm daily through March 21st
New Merchandise
- During a visit to Disney’s Beach Club Resort, we spotted a new Beach Club branded luxury bathrobe for sale
- Raya and the Last Dragon merchandise continues to arrive at Walt Disney World and today, we found a new Raya Costume and boots for kids at EPCOT
- Last week, we spotted a new Hercules Baby Pegasus big feet plush at the Disneyland Resort and today, we were excited to find that the adorable, friendly beast is now available at the Magic Kingdom
- Guests can now customize some fun Easter designs featuring some of our favorite characters at MaDe Kiosks in the Magic Kingdom
- A brand new Jerrod Maruyama x Disney collection “Kingdom of Cute” arrived earlier this week at Walt Disney World and today, we spotted a few new items that are part of this collection at the Magic Kingdom
- Two brand new AirPod cases featuring Cinderella Castle under the nighttime fireworks were spotted at the Walt Disney World Resort today
- If you’re missing The Mandalorian, shopDisney has just released a line of plush and pin sets to fill the void featuring Grogu “The Child” enjoying some of his favorite things
- Additional Raya and the Last Dragon merchandise was released at the Disneyland resort in honor of the film’s debut, joining a sizable collection already available
- A brand new collection of Wishables inspired by Peter Pan’s Flight is available at the Disneyland Resort featuring Peter Pan, Wendy Darling, Nana, and a pirate ship from the attraction available in mystery packs, while Tinkerbell is available separately
- A brand new Loungefly mini backpack and wallet duo arrived at the Disneyland Resort today, paying homage to an adorable mix of beloved Disney Parks icons, highlighting both characters and attractions
- A brand new Beauty and the Beast collection has enchanted its way into The Ink & Paint store at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Previously found at Disneyland Resort, this new Disney Fanntasy mystery pin bag features five of sixteen possible Disney character-inspired fanny pack pin designs and is now available at the Walt Disney World Resort
