With a tarp covering the area, it’s hard to see what stage of the process this area is currently at, but judging by the fact that it’s level all the way across, it’s possible that it’s close to being finished, and that fresh cement is curing under the tarps.
Speaking of pavement work, construction walls are still up in the France Pavilion, as concrete work continues there. Small sections are being finished at a time here.
Over at the Innoventions East building near the entrance to the current Mouse Gear, metal scaffolding has been set up in the breezeway area behind the construction wall.
Yesterday, we saw the metal poles that would support the scaffolding peeking up over the construction wall. Today, with the rest of the metal framing in place, we can see that this scaffolding will allow workers to access the ceiling area to work there.
Last week, we saw that the handle had been removed from the side door of the “Race Against The Sun” exhibit in the Morocco Pavilion. Today, we were pleased to see that the handle had been replaced, and was working very smoothly.
We did notice, however, that it was replaced with a mismatched knob on the exterior of the door.
Also in the Morocco Pavilion, we found additional themed props near the Beverages & Desserts window. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
In the Italy Pavilion, we found the Pizza al Taglio window open for the first time in what feels like a long time!
We also found the menu at Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion, which has been plagued with “unavailable item” issues, fully available today.
We found an adorable youth dress set today at The Fjording in the Norway Pavilion perfect for sisters or friends who are fans of Frozen. One dress is ice blue with the phrase “I’m Her Elsa” on it.
The other is rose pink with the phrase “I’m Her Anna” on it. This set retails for $39.99.
