This will be a day long remembered. After over a year of waiting, souvenir sporks have finally come to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The sporks had popped up on the menu back in February 2020, but Cast Members notified us that they weren’t in stock yet and were coming “soon,” but they didn’t go on sale prior to the COVID-19 shutdown the following month.
We had held out hope that they would arrive when the park reopened in July, but the wait continued. it seems that over a year after they first appeared on the menu, fans can finally acquire their metal prize… without having to pilfer them.
It comes in a themed canvas carry bag (which says SPORK Property of Docking Bay 7 in Aurebesh), perfect for those who would like to take their silverware to a restaurant not so far, far away… like Ronto Roasters, to try on their new plant-based wraps.
The spork itself comes wrapped in plastic, reminding guests to wash them before using them to eat.
It’s made of a sturdy metal, which should help it stand up to Tip-Yip and Batuu-bon alike.
It also offers a nice, deep bowl (the technical term for the scooping part of the spoon) for hearty servings.
The spork retails for $10.99.
