The Universal Studios Store at Universal CityWalk Orlando is now transformed into the Universal Legacy Store. We have kept up with the transformation of the store as more props and memorabilia have been added in the last few weeks. Today, the new store’s sign was unveiled and some new “legacy” merchandise offerings are available.

The new signage was added overnight to what is now the Universal Legacy Store. The “Legacy” is written in a classic Hollywood font.

Two new gargoyle statues sit on top of wooden crates while guarding the store.

The Universal globes that sit just on top of the sign now say “Universal” as opposed to “Universal Studios Store.”

The wooden crates that comprise what may be an embroidery and engraving area for robes and keychains are now stamped.

Different crates received stamps that say things like “Hollywood”, “Scenic Dept”, and “Props” to help add to the classic Hollywood theme.

The merchandise offerings in the store will focus more on classic Hollywood films such as Jaws, E.T., and Back to the Future.

Some merchandise is still available from popular (more) modern films like Shrek, although it is likely that a wider selection will be available at the new Universal Studios Store when it opens.

Even more Universal Studios memorabilia has been added to the Legacy store. Stickers representing extinct attractions are littered around too.

Stickers advertising former Universal Studios attractions like Earthquake: The Big One and Kongfrontation have been added to props throughout the store.

The new Legacy store continues to fill with classic Hollywood film props and Universal Studios memorabilia that allows us to reminisce on the park’s history.

The old Universal Studios Store logos are being phased out of the store and replaced by sleeker signs that only say “Universal.”
