We’re reviewing Walt Disney World’s limited-time Easter treats as we approach the holiday next month. Earlier this week, we tried some of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s many Easter treats. Now we’ve hopped over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort for the Easter Bunny Strawberry Cheesecake and Easter Carrot Cupcake.

Easter Bunny Strawberry Cheesecake – $5.99

This was a delicious treat, albeit a bit strange in its presentation. The bunny is “glued” to the container and with a small amount of milk chocolate, and the ruby red glitter glaze pooled in his cute little torso was an odd choice.

Once you move beyond the looks, the taste is quite nice. The strawberry cheesecake has a very subtle strawberry flavor, and the consistency is close to that of a New York-style, thick with a clear taste of cream cheese.

The red glaze and velvet white chocolate add nothing in the way of flavor. The lemon crust is a nice addition, adding an ever-so-slight citrus flavor to balance the heaviness of the cheesecake.

The ears, feet, and nose are all fondant. While this treat has a bit of an unusual look to it, cheesecake lovers will be very pleased.

Easter Carrot Cupcake – $5.49

This is an adorable cupcake with a simplistic but pleasing taste. The carrot cake base was incredibly moist and soft. As far as cupcakes go, this was as fresh as they get.

The cream cheese icing forming the planted carrot has only the slightest sweetness to it and is a very mild and pleasing implementation.

The chocolate ganache, oreo crumbs, and wildflower quins are all fine in and of themselves but don’t really add anything to the overall cupcake besides looks. Thankfully, they also don’t take away from the combination of the two main elements, making this a wonderful cupcake for anyone who enjoys carrot cake in any form.
