As the reimagining of EPCOT continues, the pavement beneath Spaceship Earth is being replaced to match the rest of the park’s entrance.
The first section of grey pavement was completed a week ago, before planters blocked off another section of pavement.
The old pavement is a faded red.
The new pavement is grey, and has wood dividers between the slabs.
The grey pavement now fills the area between Gateway Gifts, and the mirrored Spaceship Earth support.
How do you feel about the new pavement versus the old? Let us know in the comments, and keep checking WDWNT for updates.

Thank you WDWnt for reporting changes at WDW. WDW’s official blog is usually 2 years behind (I think they laid off the writers). I’m not sure if a new sidewalk is worth covering.
Agreed, I come here to learn about all the little updates like this that official press releases won’t cover. It makes a difference because I appreciate everything that has been updated/improved since my last visit. Thank you for existing, WDWNT!
