So another wonderful day in the community of tomorrow, where the sun is bright, the flowers are blooming, and the good food never stops. Welcome to EPCOT!
We start our day keeping an eye out for changes to the Epcot Center Drive entrance sign. Still no changes yet, so if you want some pictures of the classic archway style, take them while you can!
Entering through the main entrance and past Spaceship Earth, the construction machinery looks to be gone, which is always a sign of fast progress.
The east breezeway is having so much work being done. Though it’s hard to tell exactly what’s changing, scaffolding means work is certainly moving along.
At least we can still see those changes as the black tarps go up over the windows to block our view. At least we got a peek inside while we could.
As we’ve shown before, all the Harmonious barges are finally in place to create their compass shape, and we can’t wait to see this thing in fountain mode. We’re hoping the fountain will add an almost cooling effect to World Showcase—or at the very least, brings some nice aesthetic to the lagoon.
The Gran Fiesta Tour is still sounding a little flat with only the stand-ins of The Three Caballeros still taking the place of their animatronic counterparts.
Over in the Morocco Pavilion, it feels like the scaffolding is getting higher as we keep an eye out for any changes being made.
The door opened over at La Gelateria in Italy can only mean one thing: work is being done. However, we have no further updates since our last.
Work continues on the bridge in the Italy Pavilion as well. We’re glad this bridge is getting some T.L.C.
These two were stuck out in the open in the Germany Pavilion. We aren’t complaining as we’ve never been able to get such a great picture of them until now.
We stumbled upon some new, open-edition pins featuring classic Disney films! You can find more information on these large-sized pins in our article here.
We found two new cases for the Flower and Garden Festival for $29.99 featuring colorful Figments and Spike the Bee.
Well, that’s all for today, readers! Enjoy this one last piece of evidence in the park showing what it all looked like pre-construction, a fond memory as we look towards the future of EPCOT. Thanks for joining us!
