Hello from a lovely day at the Magic Kingdom! It started out a bit chilly, but warmed up quite nicely, and was a beautiful, sunshine-filled day. We found some fun things to show you, so let’s get started!
Starting with the Cinderella Castle Stage, more plywood was laid on stage left, and some pieces have holes cut out for the various pipes on the stage, and are cut to fit the space, meaning these pieces will be staying, and are not temporary as we originally thought.
The crane has arrived for working on the 50th Anniversary decorations on Cinderella Castle, and is stationed behind the construction walls in between Cinderella Castle and Sir Mickey’s. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Painting of the roofs nearby has continued, with only a small portion left to do on Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
At Pinocchio Village Haus, the multicolored shingles are being individually repainted. Here you can see the section in the center of the photo has not been painted yet.
Further down the building, the repainting is almost complete.
The stonework drain in Fantasyland which has been covered with a construction box has had pavement work begun, showing that the stonework will be removed and replaced with concrete. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Though we haven’t mentioned it in some time, we’ve been keeping an eye on the Hall of Presidents. No changes have been spotted here, but we’ll continue to watch for any developments.
The barrel bridge on Tom Sawyer Island has been reconstructed, but is still closed to guests. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
A significant amount of temporary supports have been removed from underneath the illuminated canopy of TRON Lightcycle / Run, revealing the truly impressive structure standing on it’s own.
The iconic sign for Mickey’s Philharmagic sustained some damage recently, breaking off a piece of decorative scrollwork and bending out the front face of the sign. A bolt can be seen holding the bent corner as close to the body of the sign as possible.
As part of the updates being done to the attraction, the Trader Sam animatronic was removed from Jungle Cruise last night. For more information, pictures and video, check out our article here.
We found two additions to the new “Snacks With Character” allergy-friendly line. These Chocolate Chip Cookies and Lemon Burst Cookies are both gluten and GMO-free, but are not nut-free like the other options in this snack line.
With Mother’s Day coming up next month, and Father’s Day in June, we found three jewelry set options perfect for sharing with your special Disney Mom or Disney Dad. All three options are available at The Emporium for $19.99 each.
While we normally find new designs released into the MaDe kiosk first and then put out on the shelves as ready-made cases, we found this “Raya and the Last Dragon” phone case today at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Available for iPhone X, XR, XS, 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max, this case retails for $29.99.
We found two new clothing collections for nuiMOs at The Emporium today. This blue striped suit was definitely our favorite, we think any nuiMOs would look quite dashing in it. For more pictures and information on all the pieces we found today, keep an eye on WDWNT.com for our article.
