Following the repainting of the EPCOT Monorail archway at the Transportation and Ticket Center, the Magic Kingdom Monorail and Ferryboat archways have been repainted.
The new paint job is part of the reimagining of the Transportation and Ticket Center ahead of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
The archways are now royal blue with the park’s name in a gold section on top.
The feet of the archways are a darker blue than the rest.
In addition to these archways, poster kiosks and water fountains have been given the royal treatment.
This color scheme matches that of the reimagined Cinderella Castle, Magic Kingdom toll plaza, and Walt Disney World entrances.
How do you feel about the repainting of the Transportation and Ticket Center? Let us know in the comments.
As I’m sure it is for most folks, the old color scheme is tremendously nostalgic for me. But I must admit, I really like the new color scheme. I was a little iffy about how it looks on the castle itself, but I think it looks really classy on all the repainted signage.
Deffinitely magical but my guess is something new and or modernized could be underway there.
