Two more turret-cap decorations have been placed on Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom, which is being decorated for Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary later this year.
The first two turret caps were placed near the back of the castle, but the two new ones are more visible from the front.
One of the new ribbon-like decorations is to the east on one of the smaller turrets.
These golden spiral caps match the castle’s gold accents and the bunting along the first level of the castle.
They stand out against the recently repainted royal blue turrets.
The other new spiral cap is on the west side of the castle.
This is one of the smallest turrets on the Magic Kingdom icon.
When looking closely, we can see the blue frame used to give the decorations the illusion that they’re floating.

Like the dark blue turrets and grays on the bottom. Cant make up my mind about the gold trim work. Hate the pink….this is Cinderella’s castle not Sleep Beaty’s in Disneyland. Hate the new extras too. Keep dark blue, bring back the white instead of pink and scrap this new stuff. Just my opinion of course. Everyone entitled to their own….or at least that’s the way things used to be…..
I hate it, they don’t look like ribbons, it looks like gold duct tape. If it’s supposed to be ribbons then the pointed ends would be flowing down not up and it wouldn’t be so stiff. Plus the gold nearly covers the entire turret. It just looks messy and not well thought out.
Castle looks amazing it should always look this great!
