The hunt for all of the Easter treats around Walt Disney World Resort continues! So far, we have tried the Easter Cake over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bunny Mousse Dome at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. Today, we made our way to Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to give the Easter EGGS-traordinaire Cupcake a try.

Easter EGGS-traordinaire Cupcake – $5.49

Vanilla Cupcake with Lemon Filling, Vanilla Buttercream, Assorted Candy Eggs, and Wildflower Quins

This beautiful vanilla cupcake features a chocolate icing nest filled with candy eggs. The cupcake is made with a lemon filling.

Green buttercream frosting and wildflower quins line the Easter treat, emulating a spring day in a field of flowers. Though the cupcake is beautiful to look at, the dyes in the buttercreams stain so beware!

This special treat is super delicious! This has to be one of the best offerings from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort that we’ve had!

The icing “nest” on top is sweet but is not chocolate like we had expected — it’s actually unflavored. The lemon filling tastes similar to a lemon meringue pie and is wonderful!

The texture of the cupcake is a bit more firm than other cupcakes we have had around Walt Disney World, but it’s still very fresh and moist.

Overall the flavors of this dessert are well-balanced! Just the right amount of filling and icing makes for a yummy treat that is definitely worth the price.
