The Universal Orlando Resort is getting ready to kick off an epic summer. In addition to the grand opening of VelociCoaster on June 10, we’re getting a Jurassic World Tribute Store!
We started our day bright and early and made our way to Universal Studios Florida. A brand new Tribute Store facade has been set up. The Jurassic World Tribute Store is coming soon!
As we made our way through the park, we noticed some of the food booths for the summer have added menus.
Be sure to check out our reviews of new food items:

The tables and chairs have all been removed from around the stage in Production Central. It’s nice to have space to sit and chill, but we’ll miss the tables.
Wait times are a lot lower now that single rider lines have returned and most attractions are seating every seat and every row.
The splash pad is open again in CityWalk. It’s a hot day today and many kids are out enjoying playing in the water.
Over at Islands of Adventure, many guests waited around in hopes of a VelociCoaster soft opening.
Luckily, the attraction opened for “Technical Rehearsals” in the afternoon. Suddenly, there was a sea of excited people flooding the area.
There were a lot of people joining the queue and the attraction quickly jumped up to a 75 minute wait.
The extended queue of the attraction offers some great views of the coaster.
Getting so close to the coaster and watching people fly by is amazing.
Thanks for joining us around the parks today. We’ll be back again soon, so make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
