REVIEW: New Summer Menu Debuts at Farmers Feast for Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Everyone’s favorite time of year is finally upon us: Summertime in Orlando! We stopped by the Farmers Feast booth this morning to find some new Summer menu changes to the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. What better way to enjoy the Orlando heat than with new food and refreshing drinks?

Tomato and Cornbread Panzanella – $5.25

First on our list is the Tomato and Cornbread Panzanella. A mixture of extremely fresh ingredients make up this wonderful salad. The cornbread perfectly balances the vinaigrette and the tomatoes. We enjoyed this more than we expected to! The fresh cheese really makes this dish great – it breaks apart on everything and was a nice creamy addition with the strong vinaigrette pairing.

Barbecue Seared Pork Tenderloin – $6.50

Next we try the Barbecue Seared Pork Tenderloin. The meat was very tender and easy to cut.

It’s nicely spiced, but not overly flavored, which is a good thing due to the BBQ sauce being very potent. The sauce tasted like a basic BBQ sauce, but with a little extra vinegar kick. The veggies add a nice texture and lightness to the dish, which were fresh and nicely cooked.

Lemon-Ricotta Cheesecake – $5.50

Now on to dessert! The flavor overall on this cheesecake is amazing. The cookie butter located on the bottom is hearty with pieces of oatmeal in it, which adds a bit of interesting texture to this otherwise soft dish. It also serves as a great balance to the cheesecake, and the fruit on top really pops through flavor-wise with sharp lemon notes (but in a good way, we promise). The cheesecake is perfect, not too sweet. This is a great dish that we would definitely get again!

Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail – $11

Finally time to wash it all down. This drink needed a good stir at first, but after that it was tasty and refreshing. Not as tart as we were expecting, but has a nice, flavorful lemonade taste. A bit more alcohol-forward than we would prefer, but still very good.

Overall we loved these new menu items!
