Hello and welcome to another hot day at the Magic Kingdom! With summer officially underway, we suppose it’s to be expected, but we can certainly dream of cooler times. We had a quiet day here at the park, but we still found a few things that we wanted to show you. Let’s get started!
Some progress was made over the weekend on the painting of the Express Monorail Station at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The final dark grey color is expanding across these walls nicely now.
Inside the park at the edge of The Hub, we found that the Casey’s Corner Seating Area sign had been uncovered.
From inside The Emporium, we could see more preparations being done to the dining room for Casey’s Corner, including fully prepared cutlery and napkin dispensers, as well as condiment trays. We recently learned that the restaurant will be open to Cast Members attending the Cast Member preview of “Happily Ever After” tomorrow night, which explains some of the preparations we’ve been seeing.
The jewel that fell off of the 50th Anniversary bunting has been replaced. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
As a part of the ongoing park-wide beautification and refurbishment for the 50th Anniversary, the facade of Be Our Guest Restaurant is being repainted. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Continuing the theme of pavement replacement across the park, we found scored concrete just in front of the Splash Mountain bridge, marking it for removal sometime in the near future.
Turning our attention to merchandise, we found this new pearl Minnie bow belt and belt buckle at The Emporium today. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We also found two stationary kits that caught our eye, both of which retail for $24.99 each and include over 30 pieces.
We found two new designs in the MaDe shirt kiosk featuring “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” artwork. These shirts are customizable and start at $29.99.
