Welcome to another magical morning here at Walt Disney World! Today we took a stroll around Magic Kingdom, and we discovered some very interesting things to share with all of you. Let’s jump right in!
Heading in, we stopped by and said hello to Mickey and his pals at the Main Street, U.S.A. Train Station, which is currently still under construction.
Over at Frontier Trading Post, we found some brand new Limited Edition pins! These include “The Windows of Main Street U.S.A Area” featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, LE: 3000 and “Where Fantasy Grows: A Disney Terrarium Series” featuring Timon LE: 4000 These are both on sale for $19.99. We also found one more new LE pin over at Fantasia Market in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, so make sure to read until the end to hear more about it.
Over in Tomorrowland, construction is still underway to replace the 1994 “gear” floor with generic pavement.
As construction continues, it seems that workers have reopened “The Grid” show building at TRON Lightcycle / Run. The show building had previously been sealed off in December of last year.
More physical distancing measures have been reduced here at Magic Kingdom. Recently we’ve seen distancing markers being removed from various attractions around the park, and today we see Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Barnstormer, and Country Bear Jamboree join that list. They have also been removed at character encounters such as outside of Princess Fairytale Hall and at Jack Sparrow’s character encounter in Adventureland.
We’ve also seen distancing markers removed from every popcorn cart, as well as other carts and restaurants around the park. Some of these include Liberty Tree Tavern, Adventureland Springroll Cart, and Westward Ho Refreshments.
Before heading out, we stopped to say a quick hello to Jasmine and Tiana during The Royal Princess Processional.
Construction is still underway over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. If you want to hear more about all of the new changes coming, then check out our recent update here.
Lastly, over at Fantasia Market in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, we found another new Limited Edition pin belonging to the “The Windows of Main Street U.S.A Area” series. This one features Pinocchio and Geppetto; it is LE:3000 and can be purchased for $19.99 as well.
That wraps up our day at Walt Disney World! We hope you had a great time following us around. What new project are you most excited to see debut at Magic Kingdom? Make sure to leave us a comment below letting us know! We’ll “See Ya Real Soon!”
