Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is among the restaurants set to return to Walt Disney World this summer. Opening June 20th, we recently got a look at the new family-style menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today, Disney shared some photos of the African-inspired meals.
In the background, we can see the Pastries Basket on the left, which includes Safari bread, multigrain croissants, and cornbread with butter, Nutella, and strawberry preserves. On the right is the Durban Chicken-Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice, part of the Breakfast Platter.
In the foreground to the left is the Fresh Fruit, served with a honey yogurt sauce. To the right is the Breakfast Platter, including Mickey Waffles, Simba Waffles, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.
For lunch and dinner, the entree platter features Moroccan Spiced Beef, Spit-Roasted Herb Chicken, Cape Malay Green Curry Shrimp, and Berber Marinated Pork.
We also got a look at some of the “animal-themed desserts” that will be available, including a Leopard-themed cupcake and a Honey Bee-themed layer cake.
Tusker House’s new family-style meals will include character visits from Donald Duck and his friends in their safari gear.

It’s a shame WDW will charge the same price for family style and no characters.
