‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be reopening on July 9 (noodles included). We’re now seeing the restaurant being prepared for reopening, with a hasty carpet replacement underway.
In the back room, carpet had been torn up.
Most of the visible carpet is still covered in sea turtles and plants, but we are guessing the new carpet will be Moana-themed.
The rest of the restaurant, however, is in disarray.
Tables are stacked on top of chairs and counters, likely to make way for the rest of the carpet to be removed.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will fully reopen this summer with Moana-themed rooms and a new entrance structure.
