As part of the ongoing cultural sensitivity changes at the Jungle Cruise, “gnu” characters and story are expanding on the classic Magic Kingdom attraction. In addition to the office in the queue being stripped of nearly all props, new details were added to the crate under the tarantula near the dock.
The crate now features a large Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) logo on one side. S.E.A. is a fictional group used in storytelling across Disney Parks worldwide.
On the other side, Japanese writing is painted down the box. Presumably, this is related to Dr. Kon Chunosuke, one of the new characters who is described as “Japan’s preeminent entomologist.” He is also a member of S.E.A.

the only cultural sensitivity is the cultures that seem to be constantly offended. they never raise their own culture, just whine about how evil everyone else is.
Wow. That is so much better than all those intricate and unique props
Can’t wait for this concept to flounder and have disney wondering what to do with all that merchandise they can’t sell
