In preparation for the World’s Most Magical Celebration, much of the Magic Kingdom is undergoing refurbishment, including Be Our Guest Restaurant. Repainting has already begun on the rockwork outside the entry, and it seems it will soon expand to the castle.

The current rockwork being repainted is seen on the left. To the right, scaffolding now surrounds the castle atop the mountain.
A closer look at the rockwork shows that not much progress has been made since our last update. The reddish tone from the mineral deposits in the water still stains the façade.
Looking up, we got a closer view of the scaffolding.
The paint is very faded, both from the Florida sunshine and the recent pressure washing.

I think it’s a missed opportunity to not put up a few half height “workers” like some unused It’s a Small World dolls up on the scaffolding as “workers” Keep the perspective looking right and fun during the day and do the work at night.
