PHOTOS, VIDEO: Disney Listens! Master Gracey Portrait Laid to Eternal Rest in the Proper Direction at The Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom

Our efforts have paid off, and the portrait of Master Gracey is once again facing left at The Haunted Mansion!

Earlier this month, after 14 long years, Imagineers had fixed this portrait to display its original orientation.

Then, just a day later, the portrait was switched back to facing right. The portrait faced right from 2007-2021 after a “re-haunting” refurbishment. The left orientation is correct and is even featured on current park merchandise.

Walt Disney World has listened, and the portrait now is back to facing its traditional left-way once more, much as it did in 1971.

Yaaawwwwn…Does anybody really care or notice this?? We don’t go to the parks for 12hrs/day 7 days a week. I’ve ridden the mansion many, many times and i’m not sure I ever took notice of that portrait. To call this news is quite a stretch, definitely a slow news week
