Magic Kingdom
- After 14 years facing to the right, Master Gracey’s portrait on The Haunted Mansion has now been returned to its original orientation: with the master facing to the left.
- The gear pavement of Tomorrowland has now moved to the bridge after completion of the thoroughfare between Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor and the old site of Stitch’s Great Escape.
EPCOT
- We brought you a photo report from EPCOT which included sweet new Winnie the Pooh merchandise, the removal of traffic flow restrictions at the Land Pavilion, Family Night Dinner at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and more.
- Sadly, we also reported that a man collapsed and later died from high blood pressure related heart problems after riding Spaceship Earth at EPCOT.
Disneyland Resort
- The Haunted Mansion is set to undergo a short “refurbishment” from August 16th – September 2nd, which probably means the return of Sandy Claws for The Haunted Mansion Holiday.
- With that the construction walls around Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney California Adventure have been removed making way for its reopening on July 9.
- And in even more reopening news, The Corn Dog Castle is officially back in business at Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland Paris
- We reported on a new rendering of an Iron Man animatronic coming to the pre-show for the Avengers Campus roller coaster at Disneyland Paris.
New Merchandise
- We brought you a new Winnie the Pooh merchandise collection at The Tea Caddy in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT.
- And to celebrate 40 years of The Fox and the Hound, the Disney Store Japan and shopDisney JP are releasing a special collection dedicated to Disney’s animated fox characters.
- The new Jungle Cruise film starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt is set to release later this month, and today we found a Limited Edition MagicBand featuring characters from the movie in EPCOT.
- If you’re into sweet treats and beachy vibes, we found some new merch for you to scoop up at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Entertainment and Media
- And finally, with an entirely new program replacing “Must Do Disney”, it seems the fan favorite show and its host Stacey Aswad have been removed from resort TV at Walt Disney World.
