Magic Kingdom
- Yesterday, the transforming portrait of Master Gracey in The Haunted Mansion was switched back to its original orientation, with Master Gracey facing left but today, he is once again facing right
- We strive to bring you the latest news from Walt Disney World, even if that means going out in the wind and rain like we did the other day at Magic Kingdom, so come along with us to see all that’s new and good in the park while staying dry in this photo report
- The traditional flag retreat ceremony, which recognizes active-duty military and veterans, has resumed at Magic Kingdom as of July 1
- In continued preparation for the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom, refurbishments continue throughout the park and we recently gave you a glimpse of the fresh coat of paint going up on the mountains surrounding Be Our Guest restaurant, and now we noticed some more progress on the refurbishment
- After a year of being closed, Golden Oak Outpost has reopened in Magic Kingdom
EPCOT
- A rainy day at Walt Disney World is better than a gorgeous day anywhere else so join us as we travel around the world at EPCOT and then park hop over to Magic Kingdom in this photo report
- The courtyard of the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT has been reopened to guests, following the completion of the pavilion’s extended refurbishment
Other Walt Disney World News
- Though Tropical Storm Elsa was briefly upgraded to a hurricane a few days ago, it has weakened and slowed back to a tropical storm as it makes landfall, and a tropical storm watch remains in place for South Florida
- Disney has announced that the Disney Dreamers Academy will once again transform the lives of young people beginning in March of 2022
Disneyland Resort
- Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a video of Sam Eagle of the Muppets celebrating the Fourth of July in Disneyland
- Disneyland Legacy Passholders can currently get a free Avengers Campus button featuring Spider-Man, now available at Seaside Souvenirs in Disney California Adventure, between The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Corn Dog Castle
- Power outages are causing downtime for numerous attractions at Disneyland Resort as attractions inside both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are showing as temporarily closed
New Merchandise
- Marvel fans get ready to assemble because we spotted two new Marvel MagicBands making an appearance on our left at The Emporium in Magic Kingdom
- Two new open edition MagicBands are now available at Walt Disney World, inspired by Baby Yoda (a.k.a. “The Child” or Grogu) and Minnie Mouse, respectively
- Star Wars fans can get cozy with a new Spirit Jersey inspired by Padmé Amidala and her home planet of Naboo, now available in World of Disney in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort

- The subscriber growth for Disney+ has apparently slowed significantly during 2021, falling short of expectations
