PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 8/27/21 (Merchandise Being Limited To Two Per Guest Resort-Wide, Attractions See Little To No Waits During Peak Times, Living With The Land Unexpectedly Closed For a Week Straight, and More)
Hello World Travelers! Get ready to journey through EPCOT with us today as we walk around the world and discover all of the latest and greatest things happening at this beautiful park! Let’s jump in!
This morning we were surprised to find that almost all merchandise resort-wide has been limited to two per item per guest. We’ve seen this previously for special event merchandise, but never for the majority of items found inside stores. Cast Members informed us that this limit now applies to all merchandise throughout parks and resorts except for consumables, such as food and ponchos.
Today marks one week of the beloved EPCOT attraction, Living With The Land, being unexpectedly closed. Cast Members are positioned outside of the attraction to inform guests of the closure due to “technical difficulties.” We hope to hop onboard this boat ride and take a nice cruise around the beautiful greenery when it hopefully reopens very soon.
We had a “spark of inspiration” walking through the beautiful Imagination! Pavilion.
As we took a stroll around World Showcase, we couldn’t help but notice the lack of guests inside the park today. We checked My Disney Experience, where we found that the longest wait time at noon was only 10 minutes. Attractions like Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around The World, and Mission: SPACE — which usually boast very long queues at that time of day — were walk-ons!
Over in China, we got a good look at the ongoing painting inside the pavilion.
We found that Mitsukoshi over in Japan has once again updated its store hours.
It was a rainy day in the United Kingdom.
While in the UK, we found some new Corgi friends hanging out and avoiding the weather! Say hello to Popcorn, Chloe, and Doinky!
We stopped by the recently opened 2021 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival booth Mac & Eats to grab a quick bite. To hear our thoughts on this festival booth, check out our review here.
We finished off our day by taking a glance at all of the ongoing construction areas around the park.
That brings us to the end of our day! We hope you enjoyed traveling through the many countries of EPCOT with us today! How do you feel about the new merchandise limit throughout the parks? Let us know in the comments below! Have a great day, and we’ll “see ya real soon!”
