Hello and welcome to another wonderful day at Walt Disney World. We started off our day with gloomy skies, but the sun didn’t hold back for long! Today you can join us as we journey through Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs, so let’s jump in!
Entering the park this morning, we found that biometric scanners are once again in use at Magic Kingdom. We have not seen these being used at this park since March of 2020.
We trekked through Adventureland and set our sights for the world famous Jungle Cruise! While waiting to hop on board and hear some iconic skipper puns, we noticed that there had been some major updates in the queue. Let’s take a look!
The first thing we spotted was this brand ‘gnu’ trophy wall. This wall proudly displays many of the skippers’ trophies, as well as some photos capturing moments of skippers throughout history.
Right next to the other new additions, we found a mural featuring Alberta Falls and a team of skippers. This mural is promoting The Jungle Navigation Co., and promises guests that their family will be taken on “an adventure of a lifetime.”
Not too far from the first mural, we found a second new mural in the form of a map. This map shows guests the daring terrain they’re about to cruise through, and points out iconic spots such as Schweitzer Falls, the African Veldt, and the lost and found that Trader Sam has recently transformed into his very own gift shop. The map even showcases the SEA, or Society of Explorers & Adventurers, logo.
Inside the office, we discovered a beautiful new bouquet gifted from La Rosa to Alberta Falls.
Finally perhaps the biggest change we saw, or should I say heard, this morning was the total replacement of the beloved Jungle Cruise Music Loop. This unfortunately includes the frequent anecdotes relayed by Albert Awol. There is now a new female host who cracks jokes and introduces music. There is however still a reference to Awol, as the new host dedicates a song to him and even refers to the character as her brother!
“it’s a small world” has also seen a few updates recently, in terms of a range of beautiful new colors that is. Take an up close look at all of the newly painted pieces inside of the adorable attraction. To see even more details, check out our tiktok here!
We saw lots of progress happening over at TRON Lightcycle / Run today! We can’t wait to cruise around Tomorrowland when this attraction eventually opens.
“The wilderness must be explored!” But you have to make sure you’re adventuring in proper attire, like this new Wilderness Explorer t-shirt! We found this shirt out in the wild at Star Traders today. It is now available for $36.99
The Frontierland Boardwalk Area is currently under construction with many of the beautiful storefronts barricaded by walls. We did however see the removal of at least some walls today right in front of the accessibility entrance to Country Bear Jamboree. The area is now fully open and free to use.
We said hello to Pooh Bear, Piglet, Eeyore, and Rabbit as they paraded down Main Street U.S.A.!
We decided to pop over to Disney Springs, where the celebration of World Princess Week was in full swing!
Get ready to party like a princess over at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage! Today we danced over to the Princess Promenade, where little prince and princesses themselves could enjoy the music and have a royal parade around the audience.
We had a bit of a sweet tooth, so we swung by Amorette’s Patisserie to pick up its new Princess Tiana Petite Cake! We fell in love with this adorable dessert.
It was announced that guests would be able to find art expression walls themed to “Tales of Courage and Kindness” featuring some of their favorite princesses. We found this new artwork displayed atop of the construction walls on the West Side of Disney Springs. These pieces (in order) were created by Nicoletta Baldari, Tara N. Whitaker., & Nani H. Ali.
And to finish up the celebration we headed over to The Ganachery to take a look at these brand new princess-ified Ruby Chocolate bars! These bars feature Jasmine, Snow White, and Ariel and are available together for $16.00.
We hit a home run over at Market Place Co-Op! Get ready for a trip to the ballpark with this new Casey’s Corner hot dog Purse. This adorable purse would pair great with this recently released Casey’s Corner Dress or even the Baseball Jersey! The purse is currently available at The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane for $44.99.
“Hot dog!” Over at DisneyStyle, we got to check out a brand new Disney Artist Series by Bret Iwan. The collection, named “MM Script”, features the iconic Mickey Mouse. This is very fitting as Bret happens to currently provide the voice for Mickey! Take a look at the stylish hoodie, t-shirt, and baseball cap designed for MM Script!
“Oh Boy!” We got a good look at another brand new Disney Artist Series, this time by Nanako Kanemitsu. We found an adorable “Team Mickey” shirt featuring the one that started it all himself, Mickey Mouse! Displayed alongside was an eye-catching “hot dog” backpack, also featuring the adored mouse.
“Adventure is out there!” with this all new Up themed Grape Soda tank top. This top references “The Ellie Badge” from the beautiful Pixar film. It is also available at DisneyStyle for $34.99
We sensed some mischief happening over at Marvel Superhero Headquarters, and that’s when we discovered these brand new Loki Apple Watch bands! These bands feature iconic characters and symbols from the Disney+ Series, including the beloved “Croki” alligator Loki variant, Miss Minutes, and the TVA logo. This new merchandise would make even the god of mischief proud. These are all currently available for $34.99.
That just about brings us to the end of our day! We hope you enjoyed following us around the wonderful Walt Disney World! Will you be popping over to Disney Springs to celebrate World Princess Week like us? Let us know in the comments! Have a great week everyone, and we’ll “see ya real soon!”

I really like the new merchandise. But the merchandise I really miss the most, is Splash Mountain merchandise. Please save Splash Mountain! Sign the petition on change.org to keep Splash Mountain as it is in the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland! Disney should expand the parks, and I had a princess and the frog attraction!
