Construction walls and tarps cover much of the Frontierland boardwalk in Magic Kingdom as the area is refurbished ahead of the park’s 50th anniversary.

Tarps are piled outside of Frontier Mercantile, around a ramp and tree.

The tarps seem to mostly cover construction materials.

There are some wooden planks around the ramp leading down from the boardwalk.

Construction walls block Prairie Outpost & Supply, leading down to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe.

Behind these walls, planks of the boardwalk have been removed, revealing nails sticking up.

The ground will likely be cleaned, and new nails and foundation may be laid before the planks are replaced.

We expect the boardwalk to ultimately look and feel nicer beneath our feet.

Some of the pavement may also be replaced.
