Repainting continues at the interior façade of “it’s a small world” in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. Last month, the clocktower was repainted to be a vibrant blue, and since then, panel after panel has been redone in a vibrant color scheme, replacing the white-and-gold designs from 2005.

We have been keeping an eye on the project since it began, and since our last update, only a small area has been completed. The base of the windmill and the small purple panel have been repainted.

The rest of the façade seems to be the same as it was in our last update. Painting has been moving from the clock tower in the center out toward the edges in a day-by-day progression.

  1. Really like this – and matches all of the color inside the ride. The exterior queue always stood out as somewhat misplaced.

  2. Weird that they are, in a way, going back to the old look, albeit with 2021 paint colors, but I don’t mind it. I don’t NEED it. But I don’t mind it.
