Yesterday marked the beginning of Disney’s first World Princess Week as part of the Ultimate Princess Celebration. In honor of Princess Tiana, the Family Play Zone in EPCOT has been rethemed to “The Princess and the Frog.”
The Family Play Zone is behind Creations Shop. The entrance is now lined with walls covered in Tiana’s famous dishes.
An image of Tiana welcomes guests as they enter the playground.
Some new plants have been placed throughout the playground, in large pots just like Tiana would use for cooking.
A sign lets guests know this is part of the Ultimate Princess Celebration.
This playground has been at EPCOT for years and is frequently rethemed to different festivals.
Kids can climb on this unique jungle gym.
There are several game stations, including this musical one.
Do you know what doesn’t belong in Tiana’s famous desserts?
You can also play Tic-Tac-Toe.
Guests can climb into a Mardi Gras parade float.
Or “Big Daddy”‘s car.
This game lets guests mix up a pot of gumbo.
This week, new details were also released about the future “The Princess and the Frog” retheming of Splash Mountain. Read more about World Princess Week.

Disappointed in what – that it’s only a temporary overlay and not a permanent re-theme?
