A week after the clocktower at “it’s a small world” was given a colorful makeover, more paint has been applied at the attraction’s loading area. The building façades to the right of the clocktower are now refreshed.
The clocktower was painted last week. Work is progressing from left to right.
The three foreground façades have been repainted in shades of blue, yellow, and turquoise. Notice that the façades along the loading area’s back wall have yet to be painted.
Moving through the queue, we see the colorful clocktower. The façades to the left of the clocktower have not yet been repainted.
The new paint returns color to the “it’s a small world” loading area for the first time since its 2005 refurbishment.
From our boat, we get an up-close look at the colorful clocktower. Shades of pink add a pop of color to the left side.
The clocktower front is painted in shades of blue and gold.
Much work is taking place at the Magic Kingdom in preparation for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Refurbishments are currently underway at Be Our Guest, the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, Splash Mountain, and other locations throughout the park.

It’s gonna be soooo pretty when it’s finished! I’m so excited to see how this progresses!
It looks pretty good actually. Adds some new life to the attraction.
