PHOTOS: Refreshed Shields Return to Adventureland Bridge at Magic Kingdom

It seems the shields on the Adventureland bridge in Magic Kingdom were not actually removed for cultural sensitivity reasons, but simply to be refreshed. The shields are now back, looking brighter than ever.

The shields line the bridge as guests cross from the castle hub into Adventureland.

Each shield has a pair of spears crossed behind it.

The decorations on the spears are now colorful instead of brown.

Each shield seems to have approximately the same design as before, but the colors pop much more now.

Though the colors look great, we did notice that some of the nail and screw holes for the shields didn’t look so good.

New holes have been drilled on both the spears and the shields, leaving old holes empty.

Hopefully, some patchwork will be done to clean up these rough areas.

The Adventureland sign has also had a prop recently removed, but there have not been any changes since.
