PHOTOS: Repainting of Be Our Guest Exterior Continues at the Magic Kingdom

With Walt Disney World’s fiftieth anniversary just weeks away, the exterior of Be Our Guest continues to be spruced up at the Magic Kingdom.

Construction workers were spotted repainting the castle atop the restaurant.

Since our last visit, the white accents to the windows appear more pronounced.

Meanwhile, work has already begun on painting the turrets a dark reddish-brown.

It’s nice to know that people are hard at work, making the outside of this restaurant look as stunning as it does on the inside.

In addition, workers have been painting the mountainside just off the bridge.

More “snow” has been painted on the top of this section, just off the bridge leading to the entrance.

Work right now seems to be focused on shading to emphasize the snow.

Towards the bottom of this photo, you can see a darker patch waiting to match the rest of the rock work.

All in all, things seem to be moving steadily on the project.

Thank you for the pictures. I was wondering how tall the castle actually is, with it being far away it is hard to tell. Do you know the actual height?
