“it’s a small world” at the Magic Kingdom is getting a colorful makeover to celebrate its 50th anniversary in October. More sections of the interior façade have been painted since we last checked on the Fantasyland classic.
The section on the water is mainly dark blue.
The right side of the façade is now more colorful than not.
The leaning tower of Pisa is now salmon, with red on top. The building next to it is shades of indigo blue.
More green has also been added.
When entering the queue, there’s still plenty of white and gold to be seen.
There is a column of mint followed by an orange and yellow section.
This section lights up, which looks great against the yellow and glittery gold.
The back wall is also still white and gold.
The rear side of the loading zone has received some blue, mint, and purple paint.
There’s some yellow and orange at the end before turning the corner into the loading zone.
Some sections close to the water have been painted, including this pink area below the Eiffel Tower.
Some of the paint is glittery, while some is not. This square has sparkling purple paint around an “X” of white.
There’s more purple below the railing.
Here is the indigo blue section up close.
Other areas in the queue have received touches of blue.

I loved the white and gold. So elegant. Sad to see it go.
