Club Cool, hosted by Coca Cola, reopened its doors today to a bevy of excited guests. After two years, a demolished building and a new location, the fan-favorite drink spot was welcomed back to the park.

Formerly located in Future World West, the new location has been built from scratch in Future World East. Soon, the center area of Future World comprising Spaceship Earth, Creations Shop, Club Cool, and everything else will be known as World Celebration as part of the park’s upcoming rebrand.

The new entrance was revealed on Instagram just a few weeks ago, but it’s nice to get to see it for ourselves now.

As promised by Disney, the soda that everyone loves to hate, Beverly, has made a comeback. Not sure if we’re elated or dreading it, but we’re somewhere in that zone.

Take a quick tour with us through the new space, which is smaller than the former location yet still packs in the essentials:

Plus, watch us try all the drinks at the new Club Cool below.

Club Cool closed in September 2019 along with the Fountain of Nations, Fountain View, Colortopia, Mickey & Friends Character Spot, and the Innoventions West Hallway. These buildings were completely demolished to make way, at one time, for the planned Festival Center. After the pandemic and the setbacks that the parks closure caused, Disney announced that it will be taking a “different approach” to the Festival Center, and whether that means completely scaled back to a more temporary structure than the planned three-leveled circular building, or cancelled entirely, is yet to be determined.

Take a trip down memory lane and tour what Club Cool used to be, as seen in our video below from the former location’s last day of operation:

  1. Good grief!!! SMH
I’m so glad we have another place to buy Coke merchandise on property.
Why does Disney continue to think that more shopping is what the customer wants? I mean, why would you put a rotating interactive learning experience instead. Oh, that’s right. It doesn’t make money.

  2. Seeing the new wide-open clean Creations Shop/Club Cool and knowing the Fesitval Center was supposedly canceled – they probably could have just gutted Innoventions West and made that building just as beautiful to serve as Festival Center? Just a thought…

    • Very true! A lot of money spent and not sure there’s really much return on it. Demolished a shop and Club Cool, and built a shop and a new Club Cool!
(I know there’s other things coming, but no actual ‘attractions’ in this whole area compared to what Innoventions was many years ago)

    • Jenn nothing was canceled Epcot stuff is just not on the docket for the 50th they have an anniversary after plus time… you might be in a rush but wdw is not! Epcot esp. theres more tbd for Epcot then there is in park!
