  1. This morning was a disaster and very disappointing. I was up very early (5:30), had many screens/ browsers open and got an error message continually through 7am. Shortly after 7, booking options began to appear rather than the error, but were all gone. How you can go from not available to sold out in seconds is beyond me. I got on the phone at 7:05 but hung up when the wait exceeded 2 hours and I had to go to work.
On a fluke, I flipped through Genie and got one at GG which I’ll take at this point, but I was thoroughly disappointed in the roll out this morning. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

    • This was exactly my morning. Error to no availability. Called and sat on hold for 2 hours and got the recorded message before I talked to anyone. So disappointed.

      • Exactly the same issue. I refreshed for 2 hours on my computer and phone. I saw one 3:30 slot for Garden Grill and that was all. I wasn’t fast enough to get that one either.

    • Same thing happened to me. I’m so disappointed. I’ve been looking forward to it for months! NOT looking forward to waiting in the standby line.😡

    • I booked our ADRs about a month ago using the same process (website/app/multiple browsers) and the only success I had was through the app, so it was my go-to this morning. I got on at 5:50a and grabbed a lunch reservation at GG. Not my first choice, but I’m glad I took it. I’m starting to dread every disney online booking experience. It’s impossible to distinguish between availability (or lack thereof) and seemingly constant tech failures.

  2. Disney has become a reservation nightmare! Magical not! People say its a business and yes it is, but it is poorly run where it use to be a top run company.

  3. I agree this was an awful experience. I have seen the show multiple times before and this is the highlight of the Christmas season when I visit Disney. This year I was bringing my elderly friend who hasn’t been to Disney since 1987. I have talked this up to her as the greatest Christmas show. I waited and checked for months to find out it was going return in 2021 and I was up early yesterday to book a dinner package and I was very disappointed not to be able make a reservation for dinner. My friend is 72 and I dont think she will be able to wait in line for 4-5 hours to hopefully get a seat. So much for the happiest place on earth!

    • I was also shut out.. I just went on my Disney experience and found an opening at Biergarten!(Wednesday 2:55 pm)
