With a large section of track still missing due to construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run, the closure of the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom has been officially extended into early January 2022.
The Walt Disney World Railroad initially closed in December 2018. Disney has not announced a reopening date. It will likely remain closed for much of 2022 as a tunnel for the train is constructed beneath TRON Lightcycle / Run.
Disney has taken advantage of the closure by replacing train tracks and refurbishing both the Frontierland and Main Street, U.S.A. stations.

With all this time being closed, You’d think they’d add a couple of scenes along the route . A little would go a long way. But we know they don’t care.
