First Look at Higher Variable Pricing for Individual Lightning Lane Selections at Walt Disney World

As Disney stated with previous Disney Genie announcements, prices for individual Lightning Lane access will vary depending on the day of the week and time of the year, not unlike theme park ticket pricing. Today marks the beginning of the first weekend after the launch of Disney Genie in Walt Disney World, so prices are slightly higher than they were the past few days.

Individual Lightning Lane access will fluctuate from $7 to $15. For today (Friday), most prices are higher than the weekday pricing by $2 or $3. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has maintained a price of $15, while Expedition Everest has stayed at $7.

Flight of Passage is the next highest, with a Friday price of $14. Space Mountain is the next lowest, priced at $9. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is $10, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (which also has a virtual queue) and Frozen Ever After are $11, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is $12.

It’s possible pricing for some attractions will be even higher on other days.

Genie+, which includes Lightning Lane access to all other attractions, will stay at $15 regardless of day or time of year.

  1. If someone is paying $10 for Mickey railway , they either just won a lottery and burning money, or they need to have their head examined

  2. for the prices, i will stand in the lines and not buy disney merchandise while waiting for the ride i want to be on.
