In Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, construction continues on attractions old and new as a path is cleared for the Walt Disney World Railroad beneath TRON Lightcycle / Run.
The structure next to TRON Lightcycle / Run has mostly been painted white.
Red safety netting surrounds the two upper stories.
The adjacent concrete structure still has exposed rebar sticking out of the top.
Crews have been installing wiring for the illuminated canopy.
Beneath the coaster track, a rebar-covered bridge for the Walt Disney World Railroad tunnel has been cleared.
The railroad’s closure was officially extended into January 2022, but will likely last significantly longer. New track will be installed going under the coaster and around Tomorrowland.
As for TRON Lightcycle / Run, there is no scheduled opening date for the coaster.
As we can see, there’s still plenty of work to be done outside the show building.
Scaffolding remains up on the front of the show building. The statues of interior construction is unknown, but ride vehicles were recently delivered to the park.
