PHOTO REPORT: Disney’s Hollywood Studios 11/12/21 (Disney+ Day, New Character Sightings & Cavalcades, Spaceship Earth Goes Blue, & More)

Greetings, movie stars! Today, we take the blue carpet to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Disney+ Day!

Varying shades of blues lined Hollywood Boulevard upon entering the park.

Promotional filming with Mickey & Minnie Mouse was happening near the intersection of Hollywood and Sunset as well as near the Chinese Theater.

The Hyperion Theater was even decked out for the occasion.

The Holiday Finale Starring Olaf returned to For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration inside the theater.

Scaffolding is now removed from the Tower of Terror as exterior refurbishment appears to be completed.

“Holiday Greetings from Tinseltown” is on the screen marquee near Beauty & The Beast: Live on Stage and “Happy Holidays from Hollywoodland” near Sunset Ranch Market.

Complimentary PhotoPass locations around all four parks were available for Disney+ subscribers, noted by a blue Disney+ paddle.

Many special characters were out for the day, including Dug, Russell, & Mr. Fredricksen, as well as Princess Tiana in her jazz best.

Santa’s Merry Motorcade took to the streets of Hollywood with reindeer, elves, and Pluto!

Disney+ subscribers had a new blue banner on their My Disney Experience App for the day.

The Disney+ Day cavalcade featured quite a few Pixar characters, including Mickey and the gang.

Holiday popcorn made a return this year to kiosks around the park with a (peppermint) twist.

Speaking of peppermint, a Holiday Candy Cane Shake is stirring things up (in a good way) at Hollywood Scoops.

After a quick hiatus, we made our way over to catch Spaceship Earth turn blue for the occasion.
