Toy Story Land Christmas Decorations Missing for Second Consecutive Year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Christmas decorations have not been installed in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios once again this year. This marks the second consecutive year that Toy Story Land is missing holiday decorations. Given the minimal holiday decorations used in 2019, the absence seems odd.

Here’s what Toy Story Land looked like in 2019, the last time it was decorated for the holidays.

Woody wore a scarf. The Toy Story Land sign had garland and ornaments.

A macaroni wreath decorated a Tinkertoy in 2019.

Popcorn and holly berries adorned the roof at Woody’s Lunch Box.

An iced Hamm sugar cookie made for a nice photo opportunity.

Little Green Men ornaments stood near Alien Swirling Saucers.

The absence of Christmas decorations in Toy Story Land seems to be another budget cut. Walt Disney World dining locations are not decorated for the holidays again this year. That 2020 COVID-related change became a permanent budget cut this year. The same may be true for Toy Story Land.

Decorations have been installed in other areas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

  1. I don’t get it? Don’t they have these decorations stored somewhere? Or do they have new and different decorations every year? What budget needs to be cut?, the time employees need to install the decorations ???

  2. It’s so sad, we need call outs like this and the maintenance report back. Share with everyone you know visiting Disneyworld and make sure they respond the the surveys!

  3. The holiday decorations in Toy Story Land were cute and creative, but there is so much to look at there already that I don’t see their absence as a big impact. The vintage looking decor in areas near Hollywood Brown Derby would be a bigger loss for me.
