Disney shared various previews during today’s Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade broadcast. We noticed, however, that they made no mention of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open March 1, 2022, with 2-night “voyages” costing between $5,000 and $6,000, depending on the cabin type and number of guests. Disney has faced quite a bit of backlash for the price and many guests have apparently canceled their stays.
The “Star Wars” experience is meant to mirror a real-life cruise. Sailing with Disney Cruise Line can certainly get expensive, but Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has been priced even higher for an experience that doesn’t actually leave the land.

I wonder if they are making an extended edition of the original video and it wasn’t ready yet. You should bring up that possibility.
That’s not a possibility really
I am absolutely the target audience for this; simultaneously a massive Star Wars fan and Disney Parks fan. And I would never pay the asking price for this experience, as cool as it sounds. I think this will end up being a major misstep, just like the theming and general not-much-to-do-here of Galaxy’s Edge.
