PHOTOS: Walt Disney Imagineering Previews Disney Wish Stern Filigree Signage

The Disney Wish, the newest and largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, is just months away from its maiden voyage, and with the final block of the ship put into place just last week, it’s time to add all the cosmetic elements that set Disney Cruise Line ships apart. Today, Walt Disney Imagineering previewed the steel cutouts for the ship’s stern filigree ornamental signage.

Photos published on Instagram by the official account for Walt Disney Imagineering showed the filigree ornamentation in various stages of work, with clear cutouts in some spots for elements such as stars or swishes.

Pieces of both the “Disney Wish” sign as well as the ship’s registration mark for Nassau were shown off.

Similar elements will be added to the bow of the ship soon, which they promised more details on soon.

The Disney Wish makes its maiden voyage on June 9, 2022 and features the first “attraction at sea”, two new stage shows, dining experiences themed to Marvel and Star Wars, and much more.
