Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is finally getting (some) shade. Over at Woody’s Lunch Box, the seating area is being expanded and a shade structure has been installed.

Like much of the land, the shade is being supported by poles resembling K’NEX pieces.

New yellow pieces have been installed at an angle between the poles and roof.

Wires are also hanging from the ceiling, presumably for lighting that will be installed later.

The new K’NEX pieces are on both sides of the shade structure.

The main support poles are blue and red.

Green horizontal poles connect all the supports on one side.

  1. Did the landscaping not grow in??? The excuse that the landscaping needed time to grow in by cast shows how far Disney standards have dropped especially when Animal Kingdom and Disneyland could open with fully grown trees.

I also liked do not worry about the scale just have fun. A film set playground based on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids had realistic scaling.

Can we ask why Andy stole Bonnie’s toys and has them in his backyard?
