The Walt Disney Company Names VP of Next Generation Storytelling For Metaverse

The Walt Disney Company has named Mike White to the role of senior vice president of Next Generation Storytelling and Consumer Experiences for overseeing metaverse operations, Bob Chapek announced in an email to staff.

“For nearly 100 years, our company has defined and re-defined entertainment by leveraging technology to bring stories to life in deeper, more impactful ways,” Chapek wrote in the email. “Today, we have an opportunity to connect those universes and create an entirely new paradigm for how audiences experience and engage with our stories.”

White is an executive in the Media and Entertainment Distribution group with 25 years of technology experience. His role will be to define how consumers will experience Disney’s coming metaverse. He will be in charge of creating a task force and a process to prioritize how to allocate resources and will create a task force.

We reported earlier this month that The Walt Disney Company was looking to hire a business development manager with knowledge of NFTs as they dive deeper into the crypto business.

  2. See. He is trying to prove himself and more. Plus he’s adapting to the times and what’s wrong with changes. But I can still quote this.
