Due to popular demand, the beloved Citrus Swirl soft-serve has made its return, once again, to Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom.

Frozen Orange Juice and Vanilla Soft-serve
Despite not being listed on the physical menu at Sunshine Tree Terrace, the soft-serve is listed on the menu through the My Disney Experience app.
So of course, we stopped by to pick one up.
We were told by Cast Members at the end of last month that the Citrus Swirl would be discontinued for at least the next two years.
But that didn’t last too long, evidently.
Disney also did this back in 2018 when they originally removed the Citrus Swirl and replaced it with the Orange Swirl. About a week later, the Citrus Swirl returned.
Seems like history likes to repeat itself.

Glad I have never tried it. If it were my favorite, Disney would be on my nerves. I’m in the Dole whip camp. I enjoyed the POG juice coconut-pineapple swirl with cake pop. Cake pop falls apart with one bite–you have to share with the birds. It was good.

The citrus swirl is the best frozen snack at WDW, hands down. It’s totally unique and so refreshing. We were outraged when we saw it was no longer available. So, this is truly great news.
The citrus swirl is a Disney tradition, it should never go away!!! They need to bring back the Welch’s grape drink stand too!
