EPCOT
- A woman lost her watch on a ride at EPCOT last month. That innocent mistake cost more than $40,000.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- We caught a quick glimpse of “Lightyear” in the preview now playing at Walt Disney Presents in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Some of the boardwalk outside Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has been removed for refurbishment.
New Merchandise
- After spotting it at Disneyland last week, the mini-statue from Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has finally landed at Walt Disney World, albeit at a somewhat unconventional location — Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
- Two new ID holders by Loungefly have arrived at Walt Disney World, both inspired by Mickey ice cream bars.
- Available ahead of the new Disney+ Marvel series, we discovered this Ms. Marvel dress at Magic Kingdom in Uptown Jewelers.

- “Revenge travel” may be affecting Disney Parks as large crowds continue to surge.
Disneyland Resort
- A new Stitch Loungefly mini backpack has arrived at Disneyland Resort.
- Just a bit after Star Wars day a couple of weeks ago, three new “Star Wars” treats have landed at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in the Disneyland Resort, so naturally, we had to try them all!
- The former ESPN Zone building in Downtown Disney District will soon house “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit.
- A new Mickey Mouse tank top and bike shorts perfect for summer are now available at Disneyland Resort.
- Keep cool this summer with a new tank top featuring Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Disneyland logo.
- The entrance of Tarzan’s Treehouse has been almost completely demolished as the Disneyland attraction is rethemed.
- Several new split-building Sketchbook ornaments have arrived at Disneyland Resort. These ornaments are inspired by iconic Disney Parks buildings but feature them split open to show a scene from inside.
Entertainment and Media
- Though it’s been five years since it was announced that Rian Johnson would direct another “Star Wars” trilogy, no more information about the project has been announced. Though she didn’t reference the possible trilogy directly, Kathleen Kennedy did tell Vanity Fair in a new interview that she continues to meet with Johnson.
- In a new interview with Deadline, Sony Chairman Tom Rothman said they are working on the next “Spider-Man” movie starring Tom Holland and hoping to bring back director Jon Watts and Zendaya.
